JOB REQUIREMENTS: Ability to prepare patients for examination. Abilityto set-up and clean patient rooms. Ability to assist theprovider/physician during exams and procedures. Ability to notifypatients of laboratory results as directed by the provider. Ability tocollect and prepare laboratory specimens. Responsible for the cleaning of instrumentsand equipment per manufacturer and departmental policy. Responsible forknowing and following MHLC\'s Attendance Policy. Responsible for knowingand following the Professional Appearance Dress Code. Responsible forattending all training and/or meetings as assigned. Responsible for themaintenance of your individual certification, professional growth, anddevelopment. Ability to perform all job duties with professionalism andcompetence, assisting other members of the patient care team wheneverpossible. Responsible for assisting in the performance of direct patientcare. Ability to provide appropriate education to the patient\'s family,and other health care team members. Assist in creating an environmentwhich lends itself toward creativity, cooperation, and coordination ofpatient care in the Specialty Clinic. Ability to provide all servicesand interactions with respect and knowledge of the importance ofconfidentiality, high integrity and honesty. Ability to comply with all State of Wisconsin andFederal guidelines. Ability to adhere to all infection controlstandards, quality assurance guidelines, departmental policycommunications, and procedure competencies. Ability to follow all MHLC &Primary Care Clinic departmental policies. Ability to be demonstratefiscal responsibility, by following all directives given by the PrimaryCare Clinic - RN Care Manager with respect to the departmental budget,and the monitoring and maintenance of departmental revenues andexpenditures. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ability toprovide direct patient care under the supervision of the Primary CareClinic RN Care Manager. Ability, as a member of the MHLC team, to befamiliar with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Memorial Hospital(MHLC) and Primary Care Clinic\'s (PCC\'s) and work collaboratively toachieve them. Ability to be familiar and comply with all MHLC policiesand procedures. Demonstrate competency in using Epic electronic medicalrecords, and/or other information systems to ensure effectivedocumentation of patient care preferred. Ability to use infusion pumps,suction machines, oxygen delivery systems, lifts and other transferdevices, as well as ECG machines, cardiac defibrillators, and telemetrymonitoring systems. Ability to use other technology and equipmentspecific to surgical procedures, such as laparoscopy, endoscopy, andarthroscopy equipment.
