Sr. Accountant contract role!
Description:
Prepare and post journal entries.
Perform account analysis and reconciliations.
Complete bank reconciliations.
Analyze revenue, cost of sales and operating expense trends and prepare related accruals.
Perform inter-company balance review and reconciliation.
Responsible for fixed asset accounting, reconciliation to fixed asset subledger and compliance with related accounting policies.
Analyze physical inventory variances and generate reports to facilitate management review.
Prepare profit and loss statements for the branches and follow up with branches as needed.
Assist with month-end close (5 day close) and consolidation processes, cash management activities, audit preparation and company merger and acquisition activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
BA in Accounting/Finance
4+ years progressive accounting (in operational accounting)
Excel- advanced. Pivot tables, power pivots, power queries, x look ups (ability to learn those quick if you don't have them)
Worked with large data sets and interpreting large data sets
Initiative to see a problem and figure out a solution
See improvements that can be made, variances and do somethin about it. Don't be like "this isn't my job"
Critical thinking- how does everything interact and impact each other?
