Position Summary:
The Pricing Contracts Analyst is a critical member of the Pricing team. This position provides analysis in support of the pricing strategy which may be inclusive of trade letters and national/contracts or local/regional and ensures timeliness and accuracy. The Pricing Contracts Analyst troubleshoots any discrepancies to minimize financial risk. This position works closely with the Customer, the Revenue Growth Management (RGM), and Shared Business Services teams.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Ensure pricing processes and standards are accurately captured across customer and package levels
Assist with analyzing pricing reports and provide recommendations as necessary for business partners and support month-end department reporting
Assist with the preparation and execution of customer contracts including the correct recording of all new contracts in the pricing system
Collaborate with Senior Pricing Analyst or Pricing Lead to conduct pricing adjustments supported by the analysis of financial impacts/risks summary
Partner with the Customer teams and use internal tools to monitor and update pricing
Identify, resolve or escalate pricing/contract issues in a timely manner
Respond to pricing and contract inquiries within Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Assist in communication with the Sales and Leadership teams
Deliver results for customers that establish high standards, credibility, and quality performance
Support the Shared Business Services teams as needed to resolve end-to-end pricing or contracts-related issues impacting customers
Meet or exceed KPIs as assigned and identify solutions to drive continuous improvement
Conduct all pricing processes and routines
Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, 2 plus years of Finance, Accounting, or Business -related experience or HS Diploma/GED and 5 plus years of Finance, Accounting, or Business - related experience
Ability to analyze large data sets, and provide insight into trends to support business decisions; experience working with sensitive data
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
High sense of urgency
Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and handle multiple assignments
Problem solver
Proactive mindset
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Able to meet deadlines and manage the pressure associated with those deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with others to convey information and to receive work direction
Advanced Excel Skills and intermediate skills in Word and PowerPoint
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Master’s degree
Experience working in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
Pricing analysis and pricing strategies experience
SAP, Power BI, Alteryx experience
Experience with analyzing customer contracts
