The Heating Plant Superintendent is responsible for astate-owned power plant that operates 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 daysa year. The UWSP power plant provides the steam utility to the UWSPcampus and to Aspirus Hospital. The Heating Plant Superintendent ensuresthat the heating plant facility and heating plant operators are runningefficiently and effectively to provide steam to heat buildings, domesticwater, food preparation, process heating, campus laboratory applicationsand Aspirus Hospital.
