　　Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

　　Major Responsibilities / Ongoing Tasks

　　Provide a technical support for plant power system.

　　the works at site to supervise when there is critical maintenance works & critical test at plant such as periodical HV power system PM, MFAP test and so on

　　Find root cause of abnormal condition of power system when there is issue at plant thru checking system mechanical setup, thru system parameter setup, thru related output value tracking & analysis and thru having a discussion with local equipment manufacturer if necessary.

　　Support emergency troubleshooting of power system (there can be possibility to travel to other city as soon as possible if immediate support is needed)

　　Lead or supervise power system area for projects.

　　If a leader of project, have a site check, develop a SOW (scope of work), lead a SOW review meeting, supervise a design base on power theory & GB code, review quotation, request PR, setup and manage a schedule, supervise power system installation/retrofit at site (check part specification, cabling, wiring, connection, relay setting, ground protection device installation, safety base on power theory), have a commissioning.

　　If a supporter of project, supervise above tasks and provide technical proposal if necessary.

　　Support operational & technical skill improvement of plant power resource.

　　Make evaluation criteria base on power theory and base on plant power system.

　　Participate in annual skill evaluation.

　　Develop training material.

　　Special role as local div. power engineer

　　Have a technical discussion with China external organization like power bureau and manufacturer when necessary.

　　Supervise power system design and supervise power system installation, to be appropriate to standard like GB code and other power system standard.

　　Job Specifications – QualificationsEducation Level Required (Degree and Discipline)

　　Bachelor’s degree at least in power engineering

　　Experience (Type and Amount)

　　More than 10 Years experience in power system. . Have capability to design power system & review power system design.. Have experience of power system operation & maintenance in the plant facility. Have experience to supervise power system installation.

　　Skills (Computer skill, project management skill, etc.)

　　Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.)

　　AutoCAD related.

　　English language skills (At least basic level both written and oral)

　　Effective management vendor

　　Project management
