　　rResponsibilities

　　rA fulltime postdoc fellow/staff scientist position is available in Dr.Yoon laboratory in the Aging and Metabolism Reserach Program. Researchin Yoon lab focus on discovery of new genetic/neurological diseases andtheir pathogenic mechanisms. We implement an experimental pipeline thatleverages the combined power of clinical data, genomics analysis, andstudies using Drosophila models and patient-derived stem cell models.Candidates with strong interest in neurological and genetic diseases andiPSC models are welcome to apply.

　　We have discovered 5 novel Mendelian mitochondrial diseases includingthe Harel-Yoon syndrome and the Yoon-Bellen neurodevelopmental syndromethat bear my name (PMID: 27640307; PMID: 32004445; PMID: 33845882; PMID:28017472; PMID: 34800363). We already established numerous diseasemodels in human iPS cells. Hence, motivated postdoctoral fellows willhave opportunities to explore exciting projects and publish high-impactpapers.
