The Diao lab in the Chemistry Department of NYU is looking for a talented post-doctoral associate to develop transition metal catalysts for organic synthesis and biomass conversion.

　　Successful applicants will be highly motivated with an interest in working in Organic Synthesis and must hold a Ph.D. degree in a related field (Chemistry). The ideal candidate will have research experience in organic methodology, natural product synthesis, or materials research.

　　The terms of employment, which would be a year, with a possibility of renewal, include a competitive salary and other benefits (including access to subsidized NYU housing in NYC). Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and candidates will be considered until the position is filled. The candidate would be fully supported by current funding, and the start date could be immediate if necessary.

　　In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500 – $62,500. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

　　Ph.D. degree in a related field (Chemistry).
