Position Description: Reporting to theApplications Engineering Leader in each sub vertical in Air CooledApplications, the Portfolio Simplification Program Manager will bededicated to support PLS / product transitions and engage all businessfunctions (Applications Engineering, Sales, Customer order processing,Site manufacturing, Materials Planning and Scheduling, Procurement,Demand Planning, Supply planning and Quality) to drive an integratedapproach to Product Line Simplification and Portfolio Optimizationactivities. This role has ownership for the end to end execution of theproduct line simplification and product transition programs. Theselected individual will be accountable for ensuring the program stepsare part of an effective standard work to plan to execute and eliminateproduct/program exits and sun sets. Additionally the program managerwill be tasked to deliver an effective communication plan to the Sites,Applications Engineering, Sales, Procurement and all other relevantgroups.
