GAMA-1 Technologies, LLC seeks a highly experienced remote Platform Engineer to support GAMA-1's new contract with the National Weather Service’s Office of Water Prediction. This position will directly support the engineering and establishment of cutting-edge water prediction models and forecasting to support the Nation’s capabilities in preserving life and property.

　　Duties/Responsibilities: 

　　The Platform Engineer is responsible for administering all software services configurations into various environments and supervising the application packaging processes while maintaining optimal quality for each application, including:

　　Management and maintenance of all applications, prepare ad hoc reports for various systems and assets, and evaluate and document all operating systems per required standards and associate requests. 

　　Design and maintenance of all desktop and separate appointment activities, assists in template installation, and prepares scripts for all software development. 

　　The management and preparation of reports for automated process deployment and further develop reports to present to management. 

　　The creation of a framework that covers all aspects of an application’s lifecycle, perform operations tasks such as monitoring application performance, develop new technologies to support applications, and collaborate with other members of the engineering team to design new features.

　　Required Skills/Abilities:  

　　The Platform Engineer should have proven work experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role, Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications (preferred), troubleshooting and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration skills, and client management skills.

　　Education and Experience: 

　　Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering or equivalent technical degree

　　Four years or more of experience performing tasks listed above

　　The ability to obtain a security clearance

　　This position is a temporary position and will 6 month full-time 40hrs/week, 6 month 20hrs/week on a 1099 basis.
