In this role, you will be responsible for driving the plant's operational efficiencies, improving business performance, reducing costs, and organizational culture change. You will support cost growth and productivity initiatives, develop sustainable best practices, and support activities that exceed target metrics. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize and institutionalize continuous improvement methods by deploying the Ocean Spray Manufacturing System (OSMS).A Day in the Life...Identify plant performance improvement opportunities (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale)Perform process studies, data collection, and cost analysis to quantify business impact and create opportunity pipelinesPrioritize PE projects based on business needs and data alignmentLead Kaizen initiatives for critical performance improvement projects (Throughput, Downtime, Yield, Changeover, Cleaning, Startup, etc.) and foundation-building efforts using Ocean Spray Manufacturing (OSMS) methodologiesExecute plant Cost Savings (CSI) projects to meet or exceed the targetExecute site-specific Ocean Spray Manufacturing System elements with linkage to ops performance improvementTeach and mentor plant frontline associates about problem-solving mindset, tools, and techniquesServe as a change agent for developing organic Kaizen culture at the plant through cross functional team meetings focused on efficiency improvement and cost savings projectsSupport manufacturing networkwide standardization efforts and share best practicesSupport other duties as needed and directedWhat We Are Looking For:Minimum 5 years of experience in Food/Beverage/Pharmaceutical or related industry, with 1+ in a supervisor or manager roleBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Food Science, or equivalent experienceExcellent understanding of manufacturing operations with dedication to the concepts of continuous improvementProficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Access database functions and/or Minitab or other statistical analysis softwareAbility to manage multiple projects and Kaizen events simultaneouslyStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAble to work cross-functionally in team environment and at various organizational levelsExcellent facilitation, training, and presentation skillsStatistical, analytical, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated project management experienceEducation:Bachelor's or University Degree (Preferred)Work Experience:Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 YearsAnnual Salary:$92,900 - $127,700The base salary range information above serves as a guideline of the position's typical hiring range.
