Applied Materials’ Automation Products Group seeks to hire an APF Planning and Scheduling Deployment Manager to drive our Factory Productivity deployments and adoption at customer sites. This position will interface with customers to ensure APF product capabilities are deployed and customers are able to use the systems to realize value while also implementing BKMs within planning and scheduling. A successful candidate will have experience of deploying factory productivity and planning solutions (APF or similar technology). role will be instrumental in guiding solutions development to enable fast and sustainable deployment activities. They will interact with engineering, product management, regional pre-sales, deployment, and support teams during all phases of the pre-sales/sales/deployment/support lifecycle with customers.
Key Responsibilities
Deployment Solution/Process architecture
Coordination of deployment projects worldwide , enable BKM sharing across world wide
Create and manage key program documents such as Software Requirements Specification (SRS) and Statement of Work (SOW)
Forecast and track deployment projects profit and margin targets
Resource planning for deployment /post deployment / solutions services
Provide internal training for deployment resources
Drive the deployment efficiency activities /tasks
Helping to map customer business process (BPs) and design future state BPs with customer
Ensure solution has an integrated architecture aligned to key BPs
Manage customer expectations and help customer align to BKMs seen in the industry
Break through edge-cases to ensure solutions deployment meets schedule and cost targets
Technical Product/Process Improvement
Drive gap closure in systems that hinder effective deployment
Coordinate with Engineering on harvesting service deliverables
Pre Sales activities
Support/aid pre-sales activities
Help with demonstrations and support preparation of demos
Field technical questions with a focus on preparing customer for their required change management requirements
Requirements/Skills
Experience using or deploying factory productivity software (such as AutoSched, AutoMod, APF RTD platform or competitor/home-grown solutions) to drive KPI improvements
Understanding of AI/ML/Data Science technologies
Understanding of advanced visualization capabilities
Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing logistics and data flow.
Experience presenting and leading discussions.
Able to work in cross-functional teams
Strong communication skills
International and domestic travel required
This job is fully remote. It is anticipated this role will required 25% travel on average

U.S. Salary Range:
$120,000.00 - $165,000.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
