Unity Lab Services provides a single source for integrated lab services, support, and supply management. Our customized service offerings and elite service experts have the flexibility and experience to uniquely address our customer’s laboratory's business needs.
Discover Impactful Work:
The position supports the daily operations of the Pipette Calibration Program in GxP environments. Responsible for meeting goals and objectives of the customer location, as determined by contractual requirements, including SLA adherence, GxP operational compliance, coordinating asset calibrations, and planning of pipette work orders.
A day in the Life:
Utilize client’s validated system [Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Maximo], efficiently and accurately develop and plan work orders for pipettes to meet or exceed all contracted performance metrics and to comply with client request or GXP procedures.
Verify and route work orders varying by work type, client request, or GXP requirements.
Ensure data integrity of all work order information.
Coordinate with clients, coworkers, and other onsite service providers to ensure work orders are generated for the appropriate pipettes.
Execute pipette data updates directly in the client’s system (Maximo).
Generate and modify Microsoft Excel spreadsheets with varying ranges of datasets to catalog necessary updates to system data.
Ensure compliance with SOPs.
Provides general guidance and technical expertise to peers and clients.
Provide excellent customer service.
Support other duties as assigned.
Keys to Success:
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience
Experience in GxP environment preferred.
Working knowledge of work order management system (Maximo) preferred.
Customer service.
Computer literacy.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Attention to detail; technical problem-solving skills; and ability to multi-task.
Trained in basic laboratory safety.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proven excellence in customer service skills.
Detail oriented, problem solver, promotes a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft office (with heightened proficiency in Excel) and confident working in systems and databases.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently within customer location.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $19.64–$29.48.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
