Physician Relations Specialist
Position Summary: This role is full-time and based in our CoeurdAlene, ID office, but will require some travel to our other locations.While the Physician Relations Specialist will largely maintain normalbusiness hours, he/she will be expected to interact with candidatesaccording to their schedules and may be required to work for limitedamounts of time in the evenings, early mornings, and weekends.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with hiring managers to fully ascertain staffing needs,candidate qualifications, etc.
Prospect candidates utilize variety of recruitment methods includingnetworking, cold calling, professional associations, conferences,database sources, referral programs, social media, and online searchtools to source and recruit.
Procuring ideal candidates based on Apogee needs and the ability toconduct initial telephone screenings to carefully screen candidates forbackground/experience.
Maintain a database and network of qualified resources for staffingpipelines.
Match candidates to multiple positions in region and company-wideopportunities. Provide detailed information to providers regardingApogee, compensation plans, malpractice insurance, community facts andHospital.
Represent Apogee Physicians at National career fairs, associationconferences and other meetings to network with Physicians and AlliedHealth providers.
Serve as the primary contact for Physician and Allied Health-relatedcandidates throughout the recruitment process including facilitation ofthe on-site interview, contract offer and negotiations, contractsigning, relocation and on-boarding process.
Conducts follow up with newly hired physicians at regular intervals toprovider support and address concerns. Participates in the developmentand implementation of strategies to enhance physician retention andsatisfaction.
Perform related work and special projects as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated professional recruitment experiencewith a track record of implementing successful recruitment, selectionand development strategies. Healthcare experience preferred.
The ability to work independently and in a team environment, meetdeadlines and manage multiple, revolving projects in a fast-pacedenvironment.
The ability to maintain strict confidentiality with regards to patientinformation; knows and follows HIPAA guidelines.
The ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respectto matters of business significance.
Be highly organized and able to prioritize, with a great attention todetail.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicateclearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
A solid work ethic and self-motivation.
Capacity to work under pressure to resolve unexpected and unanticipatedproblems.
Strong proficiency in technology skills, including but not limited to MSOffice (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) internet, email, etc.
Moderate domestic travel is required (25%)
