Prescription Drug PlanAll eligible participants in university health plans are automatically enrolled in the U-M Prescription Drug Plan, which covers most prescription drugs with no deductible. The plan offers a nationwide network of retail pharmacies, as well as a convenient mail-order service with reduced co-pays.
Dental PlanThe University of Michigan Dental Plan is administered through the Delta Dental of Michigan. The plan offers a choice of three coverage levels.
Vision PlanVision coverage is offered to eligible staff through Davis Vision, a preferred provider organization (PPO). As a plan participant, you receive one eye examination and one pair of eyeglasses every year.

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third-party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
