Buffalo, NY. Jericho Community Health Center. Pharmacy Technician.FT. 1st Shift. $17.00-$18.00/Hour.

　　The person in this position is responsible to work closely under the direct supervision of the Supervising Pharmacist and pharmacist. Technicians perform various duties and responsibilities for the dispensing operation.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:Previous dispensing experience in a high-volume pharmacy preferred (2-5 years minimum). Preferred experience with QS1 and EMR system (Medent) preferred. Previous experience in 340b pharmacy setting preferred. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.

　　TECHNICAL REPSONSIBILITIES: Count, label, and perform other production tasks. Assist with point of sale and other front-end activities and responsibilities. Assist inventory specialist and pharmacists with inventory tasks as needed.

　　Set up, receive and reconcile deliveries from pharmacy delivery service. Comply with the correct storage and disposal of medications within pharmacy areas. Become familiar with all EMR (Medent) functions and respond to pertinent triages.

　　ADMINISTRATION:Maintain electronic medical records efficiently and maximize resources. Work with entire pharmacy team to ensure 340b compliance. Ensure compliance of annual training in cooperation with the Director of Talent Development. Other duties as assigned by Director of Pharmacy Operations of Supervising Pharmacists or Pharmacists.
