Kelly Science is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor for a growing client located near Rensselaer, NY.

　　Shift: Monday – Friday 1st shift

　　Employment Type: Full Time; Direct Hire

　　Summary:

　　As the Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor, you will be supervising and leading the day-to-day responsibilities of the Quality Control laboratory. You will be responsible for prioritizing analysis appropriately to ensure timely release of materials and communicate any quality issues to the site lead.

　　Job duties include:

　　Supervise the activities of the analytical staff in the QC Laboratory

　　Plan and establish testing schedules and assignments in order to support manufacturing.

　　Ensure all testing is performed in a timely manner and with accuracy.

　　Ensure raw material testing for approval and supply chain management is performed, documented and communicated to the appropriate departments.

　　Ensure the QC laboratory is operating within cGMP compliance

　　Develop, maintain and communicate all applicable SOPs.

　　Assist with new product development and timelines.

　　Assist with the qualification and validations of test methods and instruments

　　Review and approve laboratory notebooks

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelors degree in chemistry or a related scientific field.

　　4+ years of hands-on laboratory testing experience within a cGMP QC laboratory.

　　Prior leadership experience required

　　Ability to interpret data, perform complicated analytical calculations and statistical analysis.
