This position may require personnel to wear personal protective equipment to reduce risk of exposure to work-related hazards (e.g. handling of hazardous medications).ShiftFirst shift (0600-1400) Monday-Friday; rotating weekend and holiday requirements Job SummaryThe Pharmacy Senior Technician assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients in an inpatient hospital setting by compounding complex sterile and non-sterile products and participating in the delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care. Other areas of responsibility include communication with nursing, medication delivery, Pyxis management, and inventory management. Areas of service include the Pediatric Satellite Pharmacy.This position is eligible for a recruitment bonus. Additional details will be provided during the hiring process should your application be selected to move forward.The starting pay for this position was recently adjusted. The minimum hourly rate for this position will now be $18.50/hour. All pay rates will be based on candidate’s experience.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesThis position requires dependability and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
