Aston Carter is currently seeking qualified candidates for multiple Personal Finance Specialist positions in Pensacola, FL.

　　This position is an entry level call center role, counseling members on their debts and finances.

　　Description:

　　To provide productive, preventive, and remedial consumer credit counseling and debt management services for the membership.

　　Provides consumer credit counseling and administers debt management services for Credit Union Members.

　　Recovers loan payments that might otherwise have been lost due to members financial difficulties. This includes: interviewing member to accurately assess their financial situation and determining the level of counseling required (educational, preventive, or remedial); analyzing members’ debts; assisting members to develop personal budgets; determining members’ qualification for entry in the debt management program (DMP)

　　Requirements:

　　Experience that demonstrates basic knowledge and skill in collection of debts, and or analyzing financial circumstances which may involve an exposure to granting credit

　　Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to convey information effectively

　　Effective telephone skills

　　Ability to apply basic mathematical formulas and work accurately with numbers

　　Familiarity with principles of financial budgeting

　　Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:30AM-8:00PM CST

　　Training: 2 weeks classroom training, either 7-3:30 or 8-4:30. Hybrid, partly on site and remote.

　　Working environment: Hybrid, two days on site per week.
