Description
Robert Half has partnered with a sports distribution company in Denver in search of an Inventory Manager! The Inventory Manager position is offering great benefits and is paying $60,000-$70,000!
The Inventory Manager will be responsible for the following:
Responsible for the Inventory accuracy and Inventory Reporting
Implements, performs and responsible for main warehouse cycle counts and end of year physical inventory count
Implements, performs, and/or oversees, responsible for any off-site inventory counts done with independent subcontractors or staff
Develops and ensures compliance with internal control procedures to include quality control, receiving reports (item receipts), inventory cycle counts and yearend inventory counts
Develops and performs a variety of inventory related tasks, to include providing inventory and cost of goods reports to accounting and executive staff – aging, turns, adjustments, etc.
Barcoding – Implementing, developing, and maintaining a barcoding system
Ensures accuracy of inventory entered in system from Purchase Orders and Item Receipts and Shipping Reports
Research and reviews any inventory discrepancies
Records Inventory adjustments and write-downs
Familiar with standard purchasing concepts, practices, logistics, and procedures and how they relate to accounting and other departments
Reviews and ensures accuracy of SKUs created, maintaining the data integrity of inventory items
Responsible for organizing and putting away inventory received
Locates items that may have incorrect locations to assist shipping processor
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Assist with set up of new users in company systems
Requirements for the Inventory Manager include:
4+ years of inventory management experience (cycle counts, physical inventory reports, adjustments, etc.)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
