Description
We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Controller to join our team in the agriculture industry. Based in Eaton, Colorado, you will play a pivotal role in financial planning and analysis, management of accounting records and staff, and the oversight of the flow of financial information within daily business operations.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct financial planning and analysis including budgeting, forecasting, report preparation, and consolidation of data.
• Manage accounting records and staff, including expense reporting, job costing, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, tax, insurance, banking, and cash distribution.
• Oversee the maintenance of company policies and procedures, monitor compliance, and provide coaching and training to staff.
• Plan and execute strategies to eliminate skill gaps or record loss in the accounting department.
• Oversee the logistics of financial information flow within daily business operations.
• Distribute financial information to shareholders and retain financial information from business segments.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Utilize skills in Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Auditing, Budget Processes, Forecasting, and Cash Flow Forecasts for Financial Planning Analysis.

Requirements • Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Advanced knowledge of Accounting Functions
• Ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Auditing processes
• Familiarity with Budget Processes and Forecasting
• Proficiency in creating Cash Flow Forecasts
• Experience in Financial Planning Analysis (FP A)
• Agricultural industry experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Relevant professional certifications are desirable.
