Description

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and performing various accounting tasks to ensure the financial health of the company. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Process invoices, payments, and collections; manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of cash balances.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Prepare documentation and support for internal and external audits.

Assist with the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Possess experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in conducting Bank Reconciliations

• In-depth knowledge of General Ledger management

• Able to prepare and post Journal Entries

• Experienced in Month End Close procedures

• Proficient in using NetSuite for accounting tasks

• Familiarity with Oracle for financial management

• Experience in using QuickBooks for accounting operations

• Knowledge of SAP software for business operations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
