　　GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

　　A Performance QA Engineer will be focusing on assessing and optimizing the speed, responsiveness, and overall performance of software applications. You will be designing and executing performance tests, analysing results and collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve performance issues.

　　JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Work with development teams to understand the application performance requirements and develop strategies to verify and validate the same by translating the requirements to meaningful and effective test scenarios.

　　Design, develop and execute various types of performance tests like scalability, stress, load tests

　　Work with development & test teams to analyse system behaviour, isolate bottlenecks, tune and resolve defects related to performance and capacity.

　　Collaborate with development & DevOps teams to tune, configure, and optimize components and services and ensure operational readiness for production.

　　Incorporate performance testing into our continuous integration & continuous deployment pipeline.

　　Analyse, review and present performance results with findings & risk analysis & recommendations to stakeholders.

　　Building appropriate SQL queries to test the backend data with the front end.

　　SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

　　Building useful tools and frameworks to aid continuous development and continuous delivery.

　　Experience with various performance testing tools and able to recommend appropriate software

　　Experience with performance SLA’s

　　Test data preparation based on the business requirements.

　　Experience in writing complex SQL queries.

　　Programming experience such as C#, or Java

　　Thorough knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle and Defect Life Cycle. Proficiency with Test Case Preparation and Execution.

　　Experience in Load and stress testing Using JMeter and Blazemeter

　　Working in teams using Agile delivery methodology, regularly collaborating with other members of the team

　　Strong communication skills

　　Project Management and test management tools like Azure DevOps, Testrail

　　Excellent written and verbal communication skills

　　Enthusiastic, confident self-starter and very highly motivated to deliver

　　Out-of-the-box thinker with good attention to detail
