Description

　　We are searching for a Senior Accountant for our client, a very well capitalized, private equity backed company that is in high acquisition mode with a number of current nationwide targets. This Senior Accountant role will be actively involved with helping to build their best-in-class finance & accounting functions. Reporting to a talented Corporate Controller, this is a ground floor opportunity to support a high growth company achieve success as they are supported by a well-known private equity firm. As part of the duties for this exciting Senior Accountant role your responsibilities will include:

　　Executing monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

　　Assisting in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

　　Preparing monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheets and flux analysis for management reporting

　　Upholding company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests as required

　　Prepare general ledger account reconciliations

　　Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

　　Manage ad-hoc projects

　　Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions

　　Requirements

　　BA/BS in Accounting, CPA or active CPA candidate is preferred

　　3 or more years of overall general accounting experience including month end close duties

　　Experience from within the audit group of a Big 4 or other leading public accounting firm is desirable

　　Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

　　Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

　　Ability to handle multiple projects within deadlines

　　Proficient in ERP systems such as NetSuite or Oracle
