Position Summary/Description:
The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the North Carolina Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Rheumatology physician to join a busy and productive academic practice. This is a full-time, fixed term faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The Division offers an exceptionally collaborative environment for the care of children with the full spectrum of rheumatologic and immunologic diseases. Clinical care is provided at the UNC Children’s Specialty Clinic in Chapel Hill and the UNC Hospitals Children’s Specialty Services at Raleigh, as well as outreach clinics in Sanford and Wilmington.

The North Carolina Children’s Hospital yearly serves more than 70,000 children from all 100 North Carolina counties for over 200,000 visits for diagnosis and treatment. This family-focused hospital serves as the primary teaching facility for UNC pediatric residents. The pediatric inpatient service has a 150-bed capacity and 5,900 surgical and pediatric admissions each year.
Education and Experience:
The successful applicant will be directly engaged in the clinical and educational missions of the division. Experience with informatics is highly preferred but not required.
