The Registered Nurse - Clinic Site works in a remote cliniclocation to serve a specific population's nursing needs. The Registered Nurse - Clinic Sitedemonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficientmanner with supervision. The RegisteredNurse - Clinic Site demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability inthe coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountablein managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patientcare.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement andevaluate patient care

　　Performs focused interview to identify specific patients'needs

　　Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic andpsychosocial changes in the patient’s condition

　　Identifies and prioritizes actions based upon patient carerequirements

　　Performs interventions according to identified priorities,plan of care, and the clinic policies

　　Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic patientenvironment

　　Initiates patient and family education

　　Documents patient’s response to nursing and otherinterventions

　　Monitors the safety and effectiveness of the environment andequipment

　　Administer vaccines or any necessary medications

　　Make follow up phone calls to patients

　　Inputs information into the computer for tracking perpolicy/protocol

　　Helps stock and maintain cleanliness of Clinic

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices

　　One year experience as a nurse preferred

　　One year experience in a clinic or immunization settingpreferred.

　　Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

　　Participation and completion of Maxim's Competency programwhen applicable

　　Current CPR if applicable

　　TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

　　Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

　　Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

　　Successful completion of new hire training as applicable tojob site

　　Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAArequirements

　　Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to andfrom appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors,co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in theEnglish language is required

　　Computer proficiency required

　　Must be at least 18 years of age
