Kforce is seeking multiple PC Techs for laptop builds, refreshes, and rollouts. These are three contract positions with some possibility of extension and/or conversion. Positions will be based in Metro Louisville, KY, and Scottsburg, IN. These are three-month contract positions to start with. Extension of assignments, and conversion to FTE is possible based on performance.Job Duties:
Imaging of new thin client PCs and laptops
Buildout of new workstations, including hardware connectivity - thin client PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, and other peripherals
Basic software and hardware troubleshooting
Deployment of new hardware and peripherals to workstations
Basic network setup - adding new devices to the network including Wi-Fi settings
Two years of experience in information technology - tech support, break/fix, move-add-change technician type experience
Interested candidates need to have basic IT knowledge, and Windows 10 knowledge, ability to build and deploy a workstation - imaging, hardware install, initial startup, configuration, and test
Experience in thin client PCs and laptop (Lenovo) builds including imaging
Basic MS Windows and hardware troubleshooting experience
Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required for go lives
Valid driver's license
A Certification would be highly preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
