About Payroll/HR Liaison

  Description

  Human Resources

  · Coordinate all onboarding documentation for new hires

  · Coordinate employee changes to benefit elections

  · Notify benefits providers of changes in employment status (hires/terms)

  · Coordinate with Stephens Insurance renewals of benefits plans

  · Secretary to 401(k) committee, designated representative between Company and 401(k) Administrator

  · Monitor posting of required employment posters and notices

  Payroll

  · Assemble timesheet information and facilitate preparation of Semi-monthly payroll with third-party provider

  · Review final payroll calculations each pay period prior to funding

  · Prepare monthly allocation/journal entries of payroll to multiple companies based upon timesheet data

  · Prepare allocation of monthly benefits cost to multiple companies

  · Prepare annual bonus review information for management

  · Coordinate payment of bonus and annual salary adjustments

  · Review annual W-2’s and quarterly tax reporting documents

  · Prepare annual summary of payroll and allocations for tax return preparation

  · Assist with Workers Comp insurance audit process

  · Coordinate/facilitate preparation of any necessary tax filings (5500’s etc)

  · Assist employees with Payroll/benefits questions and issues

  · Circulate Quarterly/Annual employee notifications for benefits and 401(k) elections

  · Monitor Section 125 plan

  · Facilitate payment/recording of benefits invoices and 401(k) contributions

  · Reconcile payroll and benefits allocation general ledger accounts

  Requirements

  The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, knowledgeable in commercial payroll systems.

  5 years of experience in human resources and payroll positions.

  Strong communication and relationship building skills.

  Comfortable as sole Payroll/HR processor
