About Us:

　　Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital, with 145 beds, providing acute-care serving a region of 20-plus towns. Our Perioperative function supports 8 operating rooms and approximately 7,000 cases annually. Our clinicians are skilled in the most advanced procedures and technology, and provide personalized patient care in a warm and caring environment.

　　Statement of Purpose: The Surgical Aide assists the nursing staff with direct and indirect nursing care activities as well as environmental cleaning responsibilities. The Surgical Aide provides a safe, visibly clean environment and works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The Surgical Aide works as an integral part of the healthcare team, responsible for maintaining a safe environment in which quality patient care is delivered. Prioritization of patient care tasks at hand and communication with the health care team members is an important factor in performing the duties of this role.

　　Qualifications:

　　Education: High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)

　　Certification/License: Current CPR skills preferred

　　Experience: Housekeeping experience preferred

　　MRMC Differentials:

　　Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
