Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the bustling city of New York. This position is within the dynamic industry of Advertising where you will be tasked with various responsibilities related to payroll processing and management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure accurate and efficient processing of payroll.

• Keep track of and record journal entries related to payroll.

• Perform calculations and manage commissions as required.

• Utilize your knowledge of Excel to maintain and update records.

• Leverage your expertise in ADP to manage financial services and workforce processes.

• Conduct auditing tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Handle benefit functions and 401k - RRSP Administration.

• Operate accounting software systems effectively.

• Manage multi-state payroll and payroll taxes.

• Oversee payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Handle any payroll related inquiries and resolve them promptly. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of Ceridian and Dayforce systems

• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration

• Familiarity with About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Auditing

• Proficiency in Benefit Functions

• Experience with Multistate Payroll

• Familiarity with bi-Monthly Payroll operations

• Experience with ADP - Payroll

• Knowledge of Benefits Payroll

• Proficiency in Payroll processing

• Experience with Multi-state Payroll

• Familiarity with Payroll - Multi-State operations

• Experience in Payroll for over 500 Employees

• Knowledge of Payroll Taxes

• Experience in Payroll Management
