Description We are offering a contract for a Payroll Specialist position in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry located in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to payroll processing, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and ensuring accurate employee timekeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process employee time records using Kronos and PeopleSoft 9.2

• Uphold compliance with internal policies, procedures, and government agency regulations during transaction processing

• Manage time submittals and historical adjustments utilizing Oracle PeopleSoft Time and Labor

• Facilitate communication regarding changes to deadlines due to holidays or other operations that could impact timelines

• Address employee inquiries pertaining to work and non-work hours submitted through Kronos affecting their pay

• Assist managers and other time approvers to secure timely approvals

• Provide necessary support to new users of the Kronos time system

• Complete additional duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in using Kronos, Kronos Timekeeping System, and Kronos Workforce

• Experience with Automated Payroll systems

• Familiarity with Multi-state Payroll and Multistate Payroll processes

• Expertise in handling Payroll - Garnishments

• Previous experience with Payroll in a large organization - Over 500 Employees

• Knowledge of Payroll Taxes and tax-related procedures

• Ability to Process Payroll efficiently

• Experience in Process Biweekly Payroll and Process Bi-weekly Payroll

• Skills to Reconcile Payroll discrepancies and errors

• Experience in Year-end Payroll procedures and tasks
