　　SUMMARY

　　The Price Chopper/Market 32 Operations Team is looking for a Produce/Floral Specialist to join our dynamic product specialist team! This role would cover our stores in Central, NY (Binghamton, Oneonta, Delhi, etc.) through northern Pennsylvania (Wilkes-Barre, Montrose, Edwardsville, etc.).

　　The Specialist is responsible to ensure that stores, in their area of responsibility, achieve budgeted financial targets (i.e. shrink, sales, margin, labor, wrap). Ensures the successful implementation of all produce sales and merchandising programs, display procedures, signing programs, variety standards, and seasonal schematics. Assists in the development of the store manager's knowledge and skill for their department.

　　ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Meet and grow sales in targeted opportunity stores as assigned by VP, Produce Merchandise.

　　Measure progress in each of the assigned stores by period.

　　Develop an active plan with the store manager for all non-performing stores to meet or exceed budgeted margin rates and targeted shrink objectives. Measure progress by period.

　　Responsible for merchandising and display standards to include freshness and quality, variety standards (ABC), display space/allocation, and signing/shelf tag disciplines.

　　Execute weekly/seasonal sales programs and display schematics.

　　Assist in the development of ethnic merchandising programs.

　　Assist in the development of and execution of Model Store Program in conjunction with Store Managers.

　　Ensure that pricing is competitive and there is a proper "mix" in assigned stores.

　　Assist in planning in-store specials to correct sales and mix shortfalls.

　　Input into the design and layout of new stores and remodels.

　　Monitor and assist Operations in filling staffing needs and training programs. Assist stores in achieving labor targets/budgets.

　　Monitor and assist Operations in basic disciplines - crisping, safety, sanitation, ordering, inventory, labor scheduling, work standards, wrap, packaging, and shrink.

　　Assist in quarterly or period inventory process with accountability for accuracy and positive results.

　　Monitor and assist Operations in customer service programs - dress code, suggestive selling sampling, and service.

　　Monitor and assist Operations group in energy conservation objectives.

　　Ensure that energy management initiatives are being applied and results measures per budget/profit plan.

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

　　Valid Driver's License

　　EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

　　High School or equivalent

　　3 - 5 years produce operations
