Payroll Specialist
Temporary need until end of the year.
Pay range based off experince -$55-$65k
This position is 100% ON SITE
We are seeking a Temporary Payroll Specialist with extensive knowledge of ADP Global View to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes and ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees across various locations. Your expertise in ADP Global View will be crucial in navigating our payroll systems and handling international payroll requirements efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Process payroll accurately and on time using ADP Global View software.
Verify and input employee data, including hours worked, deductions, bonuses, and commissions.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and labor laws for each jurisdiction.
Handle inquiries from employees regarding payroll-related matters and provide timely and accurate responses.
Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to maintain accurate employee records and coordinate payroll changes.
Assist in the preparation of payroll-related reports for management and regulatory authorities.
Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and ADP Global View system updates.
Provide support during audits and ensure all payroll records are accurate and accessible.
Perform other payroll-related tasks and special projects as assigned
Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Payroll Specialist role or similar position.
• Proficiency in using payroll software, preferably ADP - Payroll.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
• Strong knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field.
• Strong data entry and data analysis skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving.
• High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in business, accounting or relevant field is a plus.
• Certification in payroll such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) will be appreciated.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Detail-oriented with high mathematical aptitude.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines.
