Description

　　One of our clients in the Pleasant Hill area is looking for a payroll specialist for a contract to permanent placement opportunity.

　　Process and manage bi-weekly or monthly payroll cycles

　　Ensure accurate and timely payment of wages and benefits

　　Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies

　　Calculate overtime, bonuses, and other adjustments as needed

　　Stay updated on payroll regulations and compliance requirements

　　Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll matters

　　Collaborate with HR and finance teams to maintain accurate employee records

　　Generate payroll reports for management review

　　Requirements

　　Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role

　　In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and regulations

　　Familiarity with payroll software and systems

　　Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

　　Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

　　Detail-oriented and capable of meeting tight deadlines

　　Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

　　Education and Experience:

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)

　　Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus

　　2+ years of experience in payroll administration
