About Role

As a Payments Associate in our new APAC Global Business Services (GBS) , you will have the opportunity to play a role in ensuring that all payments done on time according with the company policies for all Convatec entities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Perform payment runs for all group entities supported by GBS

Perform rush and manual payments when needed according to company policies

Resolve any physical check payment issues

Research and adjust payments when necessary

Develop weekly forecast

Report to Treasury urgent payments

Deliver reports as Business Units require

Collect Direct Debits

Investigate and correct payment rejections or returns

In this role you will be collaborating with various stakeholders across the business including our GBS teams in Lisbon and Bogota, corporate and market teams as well as external parties such as auditors and authorities.

Our APAC GBS supports a hybrid working approach. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.

You will be joining a newly formed Global Business Services team, with opportunities to grow, within Procure to Pay or wider finance functions.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

Minimum 2 years of experience

Knowledge of technology: MS Office, SAP, banking platforms

Attention to detail

Be able to work with tight deadlines and with switching priorities

Proactive and creative in terms of improving ways of working

Good communication skills

Able to work as part of one team

Qualifications/Education:

Degree in Finance/Accounting is a plus but not mandatoryOur ambitions will bring the very best out in you. You’ll be pushed to aim higher and really own your work.
