About Patient Services Representative

POSITION: Patient Service Representative

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, 40 hours

WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

SALARY: $17.50

We are seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our team. This role plays a vital part in shaping the first impression of our company and involves primarily handling incoming calls.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues.

Operate a multi-line telephone system to route calls effectively.

Schedule appointments and register patients over the phone.

Collect and update insurance information.

Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Required Skills:

Strong customer service aptitude.

Comfortable working on computers for extended periods.

While medical office experience is beneficial, it's not mandatory.

Ability to multitask efficiently.

Demonstrated innovation and problem-solving skills.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.Required Experience:

Experience in a medical office is preferred, but candidates with excellent customer service skills and general office experience or training will be considered.
