Product Complaint Specialist

Schedule : Hybrid role – 2 days from home – 3 days on site
Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
Length of assignment: Until the end of 2024
Pay: $25-27 an hour Depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Receives and reviews information on customer Product Quality complaints PQCs via CQMS Catsweb , Saleforce.com, telephone, email, and in writing. Works with the Initiator group for follow-up activities.
Performs complaint classification and severity assessments. Assigns complaints to the appropriate site for investigation. Investigates complaints by coordinating internal and EM investigations, laboratory testing and other investigatory methods. Gathers, examines, analyzes and interprets information for investigation to determine proper conclusion.
Monitors Complaint Records in the system to ensure that the standard process is being followed and complaints are completed as required.
Facilitates sample return as part of the complaint investigation. Escalates issues related to complaint trends, nonconforming product, etc.
Manages timely communication and follow-up of Critical complaints.
Monitors group mailboxes for critical communications from business partners.
Collaborates with Consumer Affairs, Drug Safety, Internal affiliates, External sites, and other business partners to ensure appropriate complaint handling.
Generates and distributes customer response letters, as applicable.
Provides training as SME on the Complaint Process. Supports
Supports ad hoc requests from Customers internal and external .
Supports the Complaint Review Board meetings with product quality complaint data.
Supports monthly metrics report generation.
Works with external manufacturers to improve the timeliness and quality of complaint investigations. Supports complaint process improvement initiatives.
Requirements and Experience
Bachelor of Science degree required.
Strong knowledge of GMP Regulations and ISO guidelines.
Ability to prepare written communications and communicate problems to management with clarity and accuracy.
Ability to write and review reports with clarity and brevity, and produce data reports with precision.
Good organizational skills a must.
Effective communication skills needed to provide clear and concise information to team members.
Critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail. Strong analytical and technical skills.
Demonstrate initiative and drive action and results.
Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively. Must be a self-starter, action oriented, customer-focused, problem solver, be able to work independently, and have the ability to multi-task under strict deadlines.
Strong Computer and Information Technology Skills Windows, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Visio.
1-3 years’ experience including Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control. Experience working in Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices or other related or highly regulated industry required. Previous product quality complaint handling experience preferred.
