  Join Community

Community Health Network was created by our neighbors, for our neighbors. Over 60 years later, “community” is still the heart of our organization. It means providing our neighbors with the best care possible, backed by state-of-the-art technology. It means getting involved in the communities we serve through volunteer opportunities and benefits initiatives. It means ensuring our dedicated caregivers can learn and grow to stay at the top of their fields and to better serve our patients. And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn’t do it without you.

  Make a Difference

The Patient Service Representative works in conjunction with providers and clinical staff to take care of patients’ administrative needs. This position is vital to giving the patient the “Patient’s First” service and treatment they deserve as soon as they walk into our facility. This role is responsible for checking patients in for appointments, collecting patient payments, answering telephones, taking accurate messages, scheduling appointments, checking patients out, coordinating referrals, and checking insurance eligibility. This position utilizes our electronic medical record system to verify and update patient demographic information, as well as, posting and balancing of payments collected.

  Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position must have strong listening and communication skills and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The applicant must be able to multi-task, have attention to detail, strong organization skills, and be a team player. Applicants must demonstrate good judgement for maintaining confidentiality.

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

1 year of experience in a healthcare environment or a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.

Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Strong computer skills including experience with Intranet and Internet usage, Excel, Word, email, and web-based applications.

  Why Community?

At Community Health Network, we build teams that deliver exceptional care through empathy, communication and collaboration. We consider ALL an integral part of the exceptional patient experience. We PRIIDE ourselves on not having employees but Caregivers. Join our Community as we make a difference in your community.

  Caring people apply here.
