Job Title: Paralegal

　　Location: New Hyde Park, NY or Hybrid

　　Reports to: General Counsel

　　Power-Flo Technologies is seeking an experienced paralegal to join our team.

　　This is a part-time opportunity (8 - 20 hours per week).

　　Salary commensurate with experience (Salary Range between $28.00 - $38.00 per hour)

　　Paralegal Responsibilities :

　　Assist the company’s General Counsel on legal issues related to the business interests

　　Provide support with litigation matters and assist with case management and filings

　　Assist with drafting, review, and administration of legal documents and business forms required to ensure the company is compliant with a variety of regulatory agencies and laws

　　Work with internal and external business units to obtain documents and necessary business information relevant to corporate matters or legal demands

　　Prepare trial materials and binders if necessary

　　Paralegal Qualifications :

　　10+ years of significant and substantive litigation experience as a paralegal/legal assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department setting

　　At least two professional references including contact information

　　Strong organizational and problem solving skills

　　Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats

　　Ability to multi-task, must be strong with details and possess strong organizational skills

　　Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

　　Knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Word)

　　PC/Data Entry skills required

　　Valid and clean NYS driver's license to operate company vehicles as needed

　　Physical Ability Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodations)

　　Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time

　　Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, adding machine, and telephone for prolonged periods of time

　　Ability to climb stairs when in the office
