Our Senior Adult Unit (SAU) provides acute inpatient psychiatric/medical care for older adults. Our patient’s average length of stay with us is approximately 10 days. This is a voluntary, restraint free setting which is licensed by the Department of Public Health . It is not considered a mental health unit licensed by Department of Mental Health.
Through the Clinical Associate (Nursing Assistant) In-House Training program, you will have the opportunity to attend 4 weeks of free education to prepare you to work as a Clinical Associate on an inpatient Medical Surgical unit at our hospitals. During training, you will be paid at the Clinical Associate hourly rate. The program will take place at Beverly Hospital under the direction of a Clinical Nurse Educator, allowing you to learn the essential functions and behaviors to provide patient care support on an inpatient nursing unit. You will have the opportunity to build a new skill set and assume a direct patient care support role at the hospital.
Application Process: Qualified applicants will be interviewed by the hiring nurse manager who is responsible for the hiring decision. Schedules and shifts will be determined during the interview process prior to the start of training. Upon successful completion of the program, you will begin working as a Clinical Associate on the unit. As a Beverly & Addison Gilbert Hospitals employee you will have no expenses incurred for this training opportunity - we are covering the cost!
