We’re looking for an amazing Compensation Analyst this role, which is hybrid position based in our Fort Lauderdale office. You’ll be responsible for Supporting Princess Cruise Line and P&O Cruises Australia brands with the administration of fleet compensation programs. This includes maintaining wage scales and pay systems, working to ensure payment compliance and equity. Supports inquiries about Team Member’s compensation-related questions and works with the compensation consultants for data validation and auditing to ensure wages are paid accurately, timely, and according to policy. Conducts data and cost analyses to be used in employee negotiations and collective bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities
Carries out analytical assignments involving the analysis and administration of shipboard compensation programs with understanding the employee’s contract details for compensation
Analyze employee salaries and make recommendations to the TA or operations team regarding new hire rates and promotional increases based on internal equity, market pay, collective bargaining agreements, and internal policies with an understanding of the compensation structure and policy for one or multiple cruise lines
Analyze, classify new job roles for the organization, ensuring compliance with internal policy and collective bargaining agreements. Research policy or collective bargaining agreement provisions with various stakeholders when conflicts arise regarding interpretation and coordinate resolution with the compensation consultant or the Manager
Be the first-tier response to the emails in the compensation public email box regarding pay, title, contract, and pay related issues. When needed, engage with People team to ensure employees are properly compensated. Elevate complex situations to the compensation consultant or the Manager as needed
Access data in payroll or HRIS system to collect related data and information to conduct data analysis in order to provide clear and necessary data analysis to help the internal customer understand their compensation
Contribute towards effective documentation of employee pay, title, and related attributes by auditing and reviewing data and initiating updates to internal systems with the compensation consultant
Support on the annual compensation projects, such as salary survey submission, merit process, collective bargaining agreement update or monthly incentive payout
Requirements
Compensation knowledge, including state and federal Wage and Hour laws
Advanced Excel skill is required, such as vlookup, pivot table, and advanced excel formulas
Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint) and relational databases
Details-driven with analytical, and data research skills
Fluent in written and spoken English

Base Salary Range: $55,100 to $74,400. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
