Your role: The PackagingOperator 1 at MilliporeSigma in Sheboygan Falls will stage, fill(manually or semi-automatically), cap, label and over pack liquidproducts per approved packaging specifications while utilizing allrequired safety equipment. The following tasks will be completed daily:* Complete appropriate packaging documentation perISOprocedures anddeliver products to inventory * Fill, cap and label chemical products* Follow all quality and safety procedures * Support quality systems* Ability to train others and work in a team setting * Days/hours:this is a 12 hour night shift position on a 2-2-3 schedule: Hours are6:00 PM - 6:30 AM - 2/2/3 schedule (M/T on, W/R off, F/S/S on, M/T off,W/R on, F/S/S off, repeat) Physical Attributes: * Wearing ofappropriate protective gear, (hard hats, glasses/goggles, chemicalresistant suits, gloves, safety shoes) and other personal protectionequipment \"PPE\" to protect from toxic or corrosive chemicals in theforms of liquids, solids, vapors or airborne particles * The work areamay occasionally be wet, humid abnormally hot or cold * Siting,standing, walking, reaching above the shoulder, stooping, kneeling,twisting, crouching or crawling for long periods of time * Talking,hearing, tasting and smelling * Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50pounds unassisted and ability to push and pull heavy materials tocomplete assignment; May lift more poundage with assistance * Utilizevision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision,and the ability to adjust focus * Uses phones, computers, computermonitors and office/manufacturing equipment * Typing at a computerkeyboard and have the ability to read CRTs/computer monitors Who YouAre: Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED PreferredQualifications: * 6+ months chemistry work experience * Readinstructions and understand oral and written instructions * Basic mathskills including the metric system * Learn SOP\'s/UOP\'s, cleaningprotocols, work and conduct rules * Learn to use safety equipment.Learn to use semi-automated equipment * Eye-hand coordination.Small/large tool dexterity * Legible handwriting, teamwork,communication skills * Problem solving skills * Good time managementand organizational skills * Ability to operate a forklift What weoffer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds,perspectives, and life experiences.
