　　A Carter Lumber Packager/Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring that the quality and quantity of product produced is correct prior to delivery.  Inspects prepared material and confirms that it can be transported safely and legally.  A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.

　　Requirements to be Considered for this Position:

　　Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

　　Previous experience operating a forklift

　　Knowledge and expertise in the use of a variety of tools

　　Ability to do repetitious work

　　Must be able to work at a fast pace

　　Ability to work in a team environment

　　Responsibilities of the Position:

　　Packaging

　　Packages products according to order. 

　　Ensures that the quality of the product meets company standards and that the correct quantity to fulfill the order is pulled. 

　　Maintains inventory by providing an accurate count of products

　　Shipping

　　Stages and prepares material for delivery. 

　　Ensures material is ready for transporting and that it can be done safely, legally and without being damaged.

　　Safety

　　Adheres to safety requirements by operating equipment and handling material in a safe and appropriate manner.

　　Acknowledges and reports any defects or safety issues to supervisor immediately.
