Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join our client's team in West Hollywood, California. The primary function of this role will be to oversee the operations of the finance department including accounts payable, billings collections, payroll, and financial reporting. You will play a crucial role in managing customer credit accounts, processing credit applications, and maintaining accurate customer credit records.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings collections, payroll

• Prepare month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations G/L analysis

• Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management

• Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection

• Present monthly financial reports to the executive committee and partners

• Evaluate, implement and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies

• Research, plan and implement Finance Department initiatives including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed

• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis

• Work closely with the executive team and partners to facilitate efficient and effective operation

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with DCAA requirements and compliance

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions

• Demonstrable experience in Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven skills in Auditing

• Familiarity with Budget Processes.
