JOB REQUIREMENTS: Develop, plan, monitor, and evaluate service deliverywithin the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, Adult Protective Services,Jail Services, Intoxicated Driver Program and Emergency Mental HealthServices programs. Develop, refine, implement, monitor and evaluateprograms to assure compliance with DHS 34, DHS 35 and DHS 75administrative codes. Attends Internal Management meetings. Respond toclient complaints. Organize and lead program meetings. Collaborate withinternal and external community partners. Provide clinical supervisionper Mental Health Professional designation (DHS 34, 35, 75) toOutpatient Mental Health Clinic, Intoxicated Driver Program andEmergency Mental Health Services staff to maintain ethical andappropriate mental health service provision. Provide clinicalsupervision to Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, Intoxicated DriverProgram, and Emergency Mental Health Services and other staff as needed.Prepare and lead weekly supervision meetings for Outpatient MentalHealth Clinic Emergency Mental Health Services staff and IntoxicatedDriver Program staff as needed. Provide Critical Incident StressDebriefing as needed internally at Portage County and to communitypartners. Recruit, Hire, Train, Supervise and Outpatient Mental HealthClinic, Adult Protective Services and Emergency Mental Health Servicesstaff. Initiate and consult with Human Resources in the recruitment andhiring process. Recommend hiring and termination. Supervise and evaluatesection personnel based on County policies. Ensure new staff aretrained, and current staff are trained in new programs implemented ineach unit. Implement section reorganization to maximize programeffectiveness and staff efficiency. Lead section staff meetings toprovide direction and consultation to section personnel. Organize andpromote staff development through individual guidance, in-serviceprograms and other training and events.
