JOB REQUIREMENTS: We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, isseeking aOperations Supervisor in ourLand O\'Lakes, Wisconsin location.Job Summary The Operations Supervisor manages internal resources,external contracted resources and business applications/processes basedon the need of the business unit. This includes (but not limited to)supervisory tasks in Electric Operations related to construction,design, planning, and scheduling for We Energies electric transmissionand distribution systems. The Operations Supervisor is responsible foroverseeing the construction or maintenance activities related to thecompany\'s transmission and distribution infrastructure within anassigned area. Operations Supervisor ensures that all customers\' needsare met in a safe, efficient and timely manner through the effectivemanagement/utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials. Theirfirst concern is to ensure the safety of employees, customers, andcontractors during all work applications. The Operations Supervisor maybe rotated to other work areas/functions within Customer Operations inorder to address workload demands, gain valuable experience, and todevelop an understanding and appreciation for other parts of theorganization. Job Responsibilities In addition, this position isresponsible for: Training, coaching, counseling, development anddiscipline of personnel within their respective business unit.Coordinating and communicating across several work groups and has themajor responsibility for storm/emergency service restoration activitieswithin the operating service area they are assigned. Representing WeEnergies in contacts with the customer, the general public,municipalities, cities, townships, contractors, and their employees;they use negotiation skills to resolve conflicts, engagement skills tobuild networks to enhance good working relationships. Availability foremergency call-outs. Minimum Experience Required Five to 10 yearsexperience in a distribution/construction operations trade and/or fiveto 10 years experience in supervision of direct reports. An OperationsSupervisor should have a good working knowledge of union contracts andemployee relationship building. Strong communication and organizationalskills are a benefit. High School Diploma, HSED, or GED.
