We have a client in Gaithersburg who is looking for an exceptionally detail-oriented candidate! This position reports to the Executive Vice President (EVP) and requires good communication and project management skills. The right individual must possess a positive attitude and understand the “team concept” as well as be available, organized, detail-oriented, motivated to go above and beyond, confident of their abilities, and possess the talent and ability to “see the next step,” while managing and meeting priorities under changing conditions. Candidate will also provide administrative and customer service support in a small office, team-oriented environment. Fully in-office, some travel required.
salary: $19 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities
Training and Education Center
Serve as POC for local training and education facility, as well as off-site seminars that are held in various parts of the US. Approximately 15-20 seminars are to be expected annually, with anywhere from 10-40 attendees. Attendance at local seminars is required.
Scheduling - work with committee chair to schedule and create seminar training calendars
Registration - work with certification department to track, process, and confirm registrations
Off-site prep - compile and send out registration materials, arrange F&B, speakers, etc.
Trade Show Support
Act as POC for trade shows. Duties include:
Scheduling aspects for attendees and teachers, including tracking external/internal deadlines
Logistical arrangements, on and off-site, for materials, F&B, etc.
Promotional support, work collaboratively with social media account
Liason with the marketing committee, attend meetings for additional support
Support to the EVP
Execution of special projects as assigned by the EVP
Provide annual conference support
Provide board meeting support
Provide database support
Office Support includes, but is not limited to:
Answering multi-line phone system
Receive, sort, and distribute mail
Prepare outgoing mail and packages for distribution
Maintain office filing and storage systems, including online platforms
Monitor the Share file and Zoom accounts
Perform work-related errands as requested, such as going to the post office and/or bank
