Job Description
Play a crucial role in supporting Carnival Corporation's procurement and logistics for the Casino merchandise category. This role encompasses supporting the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes, optimizing warehouse-to-vessel logistics, and utilizing inventory management to ensure seamless operations and a positive guest experience.
Essential Functions:
Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) cycle for goods and services related to Carnival Corporation's Casino Merchandising category, utilizing Oracle Purchasing Module. Effectively prioritize and review incoming purchase requisitions, analyzing for accuracy and completeness of critical information.
Manage the end-to-end logistics cycle between the warehouse and vessels, ensuring seamless and efficient delivery of merchandise which includes the following responsibilities: Coordinating with warehouse personnel to plan, pack, and ship orders according to vessel schedules and specific requirements. Proactively monitoring the logistics cycle, identifying, and addressing any potential challenges before they impact deliveries. Maintaining clear and consistent communication with stakeholders (warehouse, vessels, operations, vendors) to ensure smooth resolution of any unforeseen issues.
Regularly issue transfers and monitor inventory levels of merchandising goods at the warehouse, utilizing systems and reports. Identify reorder points based on established PAR levels. Conduct periodic inventory audits to maintain accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
Maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal (Merchandising Managers, warehouse, and operations) and external partners to anticipate and effectively resolve any procurement and logistics concerns.
Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Casino Merchandising Manager.
Collaborate with both internal teams and vendors to resolve invoice and receiving discrepancies, for merchandising and casino ops areas.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Experience & Type: Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background, skills and management.
Discipline/Major: Business Administration or related field of study (Supply Chain); or any equivalent combination of relevant background, skills, and experience.
Required Years & Areas of Expertise: Minimum 3-4 years of experience performing related functions in supply chain management field.
Critical Professional Related Technical/Computer Skills: Oracle R12 Purchasing, MS Office Suite (Strength in PowerPoint & Excel).
Other Requirements: Exceptional ability to bridge and enhance cooperative working relationships. Strong communication, influencing and negotiating skills. Multifunctional with excellent organizational skills.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills communicate in a multicultural environment with all levels of employees and management. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities.
Travel: Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely.
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
The range for this role’s salary is $43,800-$70,000. Offers to the selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.

Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 84 hours/year. All employees gain additional vacation time with further tenure.
Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
