  The Senior Vice President ofFinance has direct reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. The SVP of Finance has responsibility for leading and managing the CreditUnion’s Finance and Treasury functions. The SVP of Finance prepares, presents, and interprets financialreports to management, ALM Committee and Board of Directors. This position counsels management onbudgeting, Asset Liability Management, and profitability of products andoperations. The SVP of Finance develops and prescribes adequate financialprocedures to provide the basis for budget management and forecasting.

  RESPONSIBLE AND ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  Develop and implement strategic financial plans aligned with the credit union’s objectives, ensuring long-term financial stability and growth.

  Oversee risk assessment and management processes to safeguard the credit union’s financial assets and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  Drive the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting platform to support effective decision-making and resource allocation.

  Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, providing timely and accurate insights to executive management and the board of directors.

  Manage liquidity, investment, and funding strategies to optimize returns while maintaining prudent risk levels.

  Drives organizational and product profitability functions and reporting.

  Executes liquidity strategies and generates liquidity management reports.

  Produces and analyzes reports on product performance and profitability, delinquency/charge-off, critical ratios, financial forecasts, investment activity, spread management, peer analysis and ALM-related reports.

  Partners with the CFO in the effective management of the investment and derivatives function of the Credit Union.

  Utilizes ALM analytical tools and tactics including margin/spread maintenance, rate/risk analysis of earning assets and interest-bearing deposits and funding. Partners with CFO to ensure Balance Sheet structured for growth.

  Accurately measures and monitors the Credit Union’s financial performance.

  Represents the Finance Team in various organizational projects and implementations.

  Ensure compliance with financial regulations and collaborate with internal and external auditors to uphold the highest standards of financial governance.

  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  Excellent leadership andcommunication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and successfully meet deadlines.

  Strong understanding of thebudgeting Process, forecasting and application of asset and liabilitymanagement techniques.

  Ability to analyze and reportbranch and product profitability for the Credit Union.

  Capable of managing andanalyzing cost centers.

  Ability to calculate andanalyze financial ratios.

  Proven ability to work in asales environment focused on complex financial products and services.

  Experience with processautomation, data analytics, Axiom, Bloomberg, and PowerBI a plus.

  Work assignments requireconsiderable judgment regarding the interpretation of policies,development of procedures, and selection of appropriate courses of action.

  Demonstrated capabilities topartner and influence at the Senior Executive level.

  EDUCATION ANDEXPERIENCE:

  Education: Bachelor’sdegree. CPA, MBA or CFA a plus.

  Experience:Approximately 10+ years in a strategic Finance and/or Treasury role.
