Purpose of Job This position is responsible for assisting in food preparation and serving and maintaining a clean and sanitary condition in the kitchen and dining areas. Job Functions Prepares and serves food for patients and cafeteria guests. Assembles and dissembles patient trays. Ability to perform cashier duties that include keying appropriate items for total purchase with applicable discounts. Washes, sanitizes and stores dishes. Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas. Practices and adheres to safety guidelines from the State Department of Health. Provides professional and courteous customer service to internal and external customers. Performs other duties as assigned.
