Need 5 full time, temporary, seasonal Nursery Workers to work in Saginaw, MN and Duluth, MN. From: 02/24/2024 to 11/15/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day. Possible shift: 8:00AM-4:00PM. Possibile weekend or holiday work. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. JOB DUTIES: Duties may include: Harvest plants, transplant or pot and label. Operate tractors, skid steer, forklift, mini excavator, loader and various farm equipment, harrow and fertilize soil, plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Set up and operate irrigation equipment, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements and mechanical equipment, monitor health of crops, transport harvest crops to nursery store front, deliver crops to customers & other related Nursery Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Workers may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. Work outdoors, exposed to weather. Variable weather conditions may apply. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 80lbs (possible 2-person); be able to climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment.
